[IMPROVEMENT] Add `GET /admin/db/stats` endpoint — expose database statistics for monitoring

Published: Apr 20, 2026

Operations and SRE teams need visibility into the health and performance of the SQLite database layer. Currently, database statistics are only available by directly inspecting the database file or reading through application logs. There is no programmatic way to query this information via the API. A `GET /admin/db/stats` endpoint would expose these metrics in a structured JSON format, enabling integration with monitoring dashboards, alerting systems, and capacity planning tools.
