"Today Ark is a closed loop — events happen, nothing flows out. For integration with existing ops tooling (PagerDuty, OpsGenie, Slack channels, JIRA alerts), outbound webhooks + declarative rules are table stakes."

Original post

Outbound webhooks + declarative alert rules (MC parity, SP3)

Published: 4 hours ago

Repository: ytarasova/ark Author: ytarasova Context: Per docs/ROADMAP.md Camp 6 + Mission Control feature gaps (priority: Medium), outbound webhooks and declarative alert rules are not built yet. The current trigger framework covers inbound webhooks only and cannot notify external systems. Scope includes an outbound webhook system with HMAC-SHA256 signing, retry policies, and declarative alert rules that trigger actions like webhook calls, Slack notifications, task creation, or emails. This is essential for integrating Ark with existing ops tooling like PagerDuty, OpsGenie, Slack channels, JIRA alerts, achieving MC parity on SP3.
